No Group Pools facilitates the tournament brackets for your colleagues and friends to organize your sports pools for various competitions.

As a Package Administrator, you will need to create an account by choosing a package and inviting others to your tournament.

A Package Administrator will receive an email to verify their account.

Members/users will follow a link provided by their Package Administrator to enter their tournament picks.

In the 1st table please reword the title “Points System” to “Points System for Series”.

The 2nd table ADD new row and title “Points System for Elimination Matches”.

After each round, series and game are completed the following points system is in place.

If there is a tie between two or more individuals after the championship game the winner will be chosen based on:

• TIE BREAKER closest prediction of total score in the championship game (NFL)
• TIE BREAKER closest prediction of total goals scored in the entire tournament (World Cup)

Users are required to pick their teams by 11:59 pm EST before the game day of the event.
We suggest to participants choose their picks in advance as deadlines are set automatically through Group Pools’ software.

The leaderboard will be updated shortly after events are completed.

NBA/NHL/MLB (Series)

1. Follow the link your Package Administrator has provided you.

2. Start by entering your predictions by choosing a team for each bracket to win the series.

i.e. If the series is the best of 7 games you must choose one team to win 4 games.

i.e. If the series is the best of 5 games you must choose one team to win 3 games.

3. The Package Administrator will decide what option the users will complete.

3a. (Option A) (predict one time)

Fill out all brackets in each series and pick a championship team.

3b. (Option B) (predict three times)

For Option B, users can update their predictions after each round (for first the 3 rounds).

i.e. If you did not choose the winning teams to go to the next round, you are allowed to pick again to get additional points throughout the tournament.

4. Send picks by the date and time deadline set in the tournament brackets. Wait until the next round to see results and update your brackets (if your Package Administrator decided to go with Option B). Otherwise, sit back until a championship team is named.

 

World Cup/NCAA/NFL (Elimination)

Elimination tournaments (playoffs in which teams play 1 game and the winner goes on) work the same way in selecting the teams as the series tournament. Users predict teams to win each game until they choose a championship team. 

For the championship game of the NFL and World Cup predict the total score of the game. If there is a tie between users at the end of the tournament the final game will be a factor. The user closest to the final total score will be determined the winner.

Your previous Tournament picks will be stored in our database until your Package Administrator purchases a new package.
